This year is a slight change from our usual Christmas though, as it's our first one in the pub. I thought what better way to celebrate taking over the pub than by making our first a personalised Christmas bauble.
Viking sells office supplies and stationery, so as you can imagine I've been obsessing over their website. You can also collect Nectar Points when you spend, winner! I love stationery, so I was delighted to try out all of their pens, paper, and shredders at the event.
The event was held at the stunning secret garden loft, the Shoreditch Treehouse. I can't think of a better way to spend an evening than sipping prosecco, with some lovely company, in stunning surroundings AND making something. It was also one of my last evenings in London, so the event made it that bit more special.
Thank you to Viking for inviting me to their Christmas Craft event. I hope our Christmas bauble will take pride of place on the Christmas tree at the Bird for many years to come.

The bauble making and piñata workshops were run by the lovely Jane and Maddie from Tea and Crafting. They provide expert classes for everyone from absolute beginners to expert crafters. They explained everything so clearly and were on hand for all our questions after their demonstrations. Me being me, though, I doubted my skills, as I should have been a bit more ambitious with my creation when I saw what some of the others had created!

After the first workshop making the bauble, the second was making a Christmas themed piñata. I've been keeping it safe as I think it would make the perfect addition to our NYE party. Although, I might have accidentally eaten some of the sweets though, oops.Thank you to Viking for inviting me to their Christmas Craft event. What is your favourite time of the year?
Lots of love,
